Paul Beasley-Murray <p>was ordained in 1970. He began his ministry with the Baptist Missionary Society in Congo/Zaire, training the first generation of university-educated ministers for all the mainline Protestant denominations. He became Minister of Altrincham Baptist Church (1973-1986), Principal of Spurgeon's College (1986-1992), and finally Senior Minister of Central Baptist Church, Chelmsford (1993-2014), overseeing periods of significant growth at all of these institutions. As Chairman of the College of Baptist Ministers he is committed to continuing ministerial development. A prolific author, he writes a weekly blog, <em>Church Matters</em>, which provides resources for ministers and churches all over the world.</p>
